Saint Antonio

Sitting at Dfw last night and sharing a phone charger with a young African american kid named Antonio...He tells me he is off to San Antonio for basic training. (interesting that thats his name and the city he was traveling to were the same and named after a Saint)
I was able to pray for Antonio and his buddy. Prayed that he would be bullet proof and God would guide his steps. I gave him the devotional I was reading: "My Utmost for His Highest" perfect for someone who was willing to give his utmost for God and his fellow man. His father is a pastor and he was so appreciative and believes in prayer.

There was a whole crew of new recruits waiting for the flight and I think Antonio will have an impact on them. I know God planned that meeting as an encourager because he looked a little anxious... They all did. Just a bunch of brave kids who will need a Fathers helping hand and Voice as they leave their families. Funny, after our prayer I got re-routed to San Antonio on the next flight. God has boots on the ground spiritually and physically. Pray for Antonio and the young men who are here today so we can have a safe place to live. ‪#‎prayforaveterantoday‬
