Pretty in Pink

Monica and i were in j crew shopping yesterday. We found ourselves a beautiful Christmas necklace we could both share  ‪#‎merrychristmastome‬ we also brought two gifts with us: Jesus Calling Devotionals all wrapped up in pink (Jesus Calling is a devotional with daily & sweet little love letters with direction and comfort from God for each day) There was a 20-year old-ish guy checking out and I felt it was for him but it was too busy and awkward to give it to him at the counter so i went to the door and said, “God, I’m in a hurry. He’s got 3 minutes to get over here.” Well, he didn’t come. He was talking to his boyfriend and they bought something else but I couldn’t leave because Monica was talking to a young woman who worked at j crew. Monica gave the j crew lady one of the devotionals (took longer than the 3 minutes I gave God to get my guy to me) but then as we were leaving who walks out AT THE SAME TIME AS US but the young gentleman and his boyfriend. I gave him the gift and apologized for the pink wrapping & hot pink butterfly I placed on it as a decoration but I don’t think he minded The scripture on his gift said: "The LORD appeared to HIM from afar, saying, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” Jeremiah 31:3 I love that it said “him” because i really thought it was for a girl but God knew who wouldn’t be offended by pink wrapping and a butterfly.  Love looked really pretty in pink. ‪#‎Godadventures‬‪#‎askandHewillcreateopportunities‬ ‪#‎rightontime‬
